A stunning new portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William has been released – the first of its kind. The painting was commissioned by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund, held by the Cambridge Community Foundation last year, and was created by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth. It has been created as a gift to Cambridgeshire, sparking Jamie to incorporate the City of Cambridge into the portrait by painting the background with the tones and colours of many of the historical stone buildings that are synonymous with the city. The painting shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge standing side-by-side as Kate wears a stunning emerald green dress – a colour the 40 year old royal has been seen wearing on several occasions.
