The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has revealed Prince Louis’ sweet reaction as he learned about the death of the Queen. Kate, who was joined by husband William as they united with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for a surprise visit to Windsor Castle, was speaking to the crowd outside when she shared the touching story. In a new clip, the 40 year old says: “My little Louis is just so sweet.
He said, 'Mummy don't worry, because she is now with great grandpa,” as she appears to hold back tears. Among one of those in the crowd was Banita Ranow, 28, who has opened up about Kate’s interaction with well-wishers. For all of the latest updates, sign up for OK!'s Royal newsletter.
She said Kate told the children: “Louis said at least Grannie is with great grandpa now.” Ms Ranow said that Kate was “welling up” as she spoke to the children. She also spoke of her surprise at seeing the two brothers and their wives together, adding: “It was really nice.” Her mother Baljinder Ranow, 64, said it was “fabulous”, adding: “It was so beautiful to see.” She said: “I felt so emotional and I felt the Queen would have loved it. I just hope in the future they remain like that and that the brothers come together, and the families.” Four year old Louis is one of the Queen’s 12 great-grandchildren, along with his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Kate and William and Meghan and Harry came together as they inspect floral tributes outside for the Queen on Saturday 10 September. It was the first time the foursome have been seen together since 2020. The group spent more than 40 minutes speaking to members of the public, where they received flowers, gifts and hugs from well-wishers.
