When it comes to the royals, members of the family are subject to various traditions that have been passed from generation to generation. In fact, one notable tradition regards the titles that royals are given depending on their position in the line of succession. And while the matter may be a rather complicated affair, when it comes down to it, the royals are just like any other family and have their own special nicknames.

This week marked the last of the royal garden parties of 2022 and for her final visit Kate Middleton looked incredible in a mint dress with long puff sleeves. The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, paired her ensemble with a stunning matching hat that royal fans think could be a nod to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly hid a strange item in her handbag once, in order to ensure that the Queen wouldn't see it. Kate, 40, was eager to impress Her Majesty, 96, with her gardening skills when she designed her very own garden, Back to Nature, for the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019, and went to great lengths to make sure she would gain the Queen's approval.

Kate Middleton and Prince William braved the wet weather as they arrived at the Queen’s third and final royal garden party at Buckingham Palace. While the 96 year old monarch was hosting the event – a tradition that’s been upheld by the Royal Family since the 1860s – Queen Elizabeth was not in attendance after it was revealed earlier this month that she wouldn’t be going to any garden parties this year.

The Chelsea Flower Show is officially back and as per usual, our favourite royals have looked blooming lovely while attending this year’s horticultural event, with everyone from Her Majesty The Queen to Princess Beatrice showcasing their best summer looks. The Queen and her family are often in attendance at the event, held in the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea, London.

The Duchess of Cambridge currently resides in two royal residences at Kensington Palace and Anmer Hall with her husband Prince William and their three children; Prince George , Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Before she married into the Royal Family, the Duchess lived in a range of places including Berkshire and her university accommodation. Kate is the oldest of three children, with brother James and Pippa Middleton , 36, being her younger siblings.
