Kate Garraway 'fears she might not spend anniversary with Derek' after health battle

Kate Garraway is devastated at the idea of not spending her wedding anniversary with husband Derek Draper, according to reports.
The former political lobbyist is still battling the effects of long Covid and is thought to be the worst affected living Covid patient in the UK.
Derek, 55, spent 13 months in the hospital and was put into a medically induced coma during some of his stay, writes the Mirror.
He has since faced serious illness due to the impact of the virus on his body including issues with his lungs, his heart and his kidneys.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, also confirmed her husband had been rushed back into hospital after an "unexpected and frightening turn for the worse" as she worries about their upcoming wedding anniversary.
The mother of two said Derek was finally "back on the right side of it" in an update earlier this month, as she returned to work after three weeks off.
Insiders say the couple's upcoming 17th wedding anniversary, on September 10, could be an emotional time for the former I'm a Celeb contestant.
A source told Closer magazine: "Their wedding anniversary is just days away and with Derek's health so volatile, Katie is devastated that they may not be able to celebrate together at home. Kate knows he may be in hospital, but fears doctors could potentially advise her to stay at home."
The source went on: "The anniversary has been hanging over Kate's head for a while now and she had initially hoped it would be something to look forward to, and even try to life everyone's spirits- especially Derek's."
