Kate Garraway fans have praised the presenter as she debuts as the new host of Life Stories, saying she's "smashed" her new presenting gig. Good Morning Britain presenter Kate, 54, took over the role from Piers Morgan, who previously hosted the hit ITV interview show for the last 12 years and 100 shows. As she appeared as host on her first ever episode of the show on Thursday evening, Kate interviewed football legend John Barnes about his decades long career in the sport, with many fans praising Kate for her confidence and thoughtful interviewing.Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "You’ve smashed it!
