Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway interrupted Emily Thornberry's attack on Boris Johnson this morning to correct her.

Ms Thornberry brutally slammed the Prime Minister after reports surfaced that Downing Street staff held two leaving parties in No10 the night before Prince Phillip's funeral.

Labour's Shadow Attorney General said that the latest accusation of parties at Downing Street "crosses the line" as they didn't think the laws applied to them anymore. She said: "I think the reason they were having not one party but two parties that night, and the reason they had lost their heads was because the culture had developed at No 10 where it was thought that the laws didn't apply to them."That culture was set by the first few months of the pandemic where there were parties and there continued to be parties and the Prime Minister would turn up."They felt they were gods, above the rest of us.

Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn’s memoir was ‘painfully deluded’ and ‘borderline masochistic’ as her reputation hangs in the balance
Britney Spears alike, but the timing of its release has been pretty devastating for the actress’s brand.Britney, 40, hit out at Jamie Lynn, 30, after the latter did a series of interviews about her new memoir, which the singer had objected to from the moment it was announced. The timing of its release, just a couple of months after Britney was finally freed from the conservatorship she had been under for 13 years, meant the reception from the public was not what had been expected.Eric Schiffer, Chairman of the Los Angeles-based firm, Reputation Management Consultants, believes Jamie Lynn’s tactical timing has worked to her downfall. He explained to Metro.co.uk: ‘Jamie Lynn, reputationally, made a serious mistake to enter the fray with a book at this time, post Britney’s freedom and to suggest that she didn’t time it accordingly would be one of the greatest cons of modern publishing.’Jamie Lynn had denied that the book was about Britney, emphasising that it was about her own experiences of growing up in the Spears family and things that had happened within her own life.Britney may have hit back at Jamie Lynn directly via social media, but Eric adds: ‘Britney is viewed today, because of her struggles with her family, in a far more compassionate way than ever before. ‘For her to vent is normal, authentic, raw and real. And that’s what her fans like.

'Sorry to get emotional' Naga Munchetty fights back tears over heartbreaking on-air moment
BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Naga Munchetty accepted calls today from listeners who wanted to share their views on Boris Johnson and the ongoing investigation into a party that took place at Number 10 Downing Street. The caller in question told Naga that she had broken the rules during lockdown to see her father, who was isolating alone while his health declined, and shared her “controversial” opinion on Mr. Johnson in light of this fact. Naga, 46, kept calm as her caller, Cath, became choked up as she talked about her father, who died from COVID-19 at the end of 2020. Speaking about her father was clearly difficult for Cath, and at one point another listener texted in to tell her that she had “such grace”, whilst claiming that Boris was clearly lacking in that department. All the while, Naga continued to interview Cath in a considered and measured manner, until the end of the interview, where she couldn’t help but get choked up. Naga became emotional when she asked Cath for her father’s name. She asked: “You have amazing grace, Cath, do you want to tell me your father’s name? Shall we remember him?”Cath confirmed that her father’s name was Roger, causing Naga to take a brief pause. Her voice breaking, Naga continued: “Cath, I’m sorry… I know… Sorry I didn’t mean to get emotional. “I’m so sorry for the pain, and thank you.
