Lana Del Rey has shot straight to Number One in the UK albums chart with ‘Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd’.The singer-songwriter beat off competition from Depeche Mode‘s 15th full-length effort, ‘Memento Mori’ to score her sixth chart topping album, tying herself level Arctic Monkeys, Blur and Radiohead on the list of acts with the most UK Number One records to their name.Del Rey also ranks as the female solo artist with the fifth-most chart topping albums in the UK after Madonna (12), Taylor Swift (9), Kylie Minogue (8) and Barbra Streisand (7).She previously hit the top spot with ‘Born To Die’ (2012), ‘Ultraviolence’ (2014), ‘Lust For Life’ (2017), ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell!’ (2019) and ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’ (2021).‘Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd’ also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, proving the most popular record of the week on wax, and is the week’s most-purchased LP in independent record shops, too.Reviewing Del Rey’s album, NME wrote: “As she steps into new lyrical territory here, so too does Lana enter new sonic worlds.

When I composed this piece I was in the studio in LA, playing a beautiful concert grand..The studio was intimate and dark with soft ambient light.“I imagined myself alone on a beach with a gentle wind blowing and the sound of the waves whispering around me.

Lana Del Rey taco truck has appeared in London today to mark the release of her new album, ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’, today (March 24)The food van appeared near King’s Cross station, seemingly in reference to the song ‘Taco Truck x VB’, which appears as the final track on Del Rey’s ninth album.According to photos of fans who have passed the truck, it has been selling ‘Ocean Blvd’ fish tacos, vegan tacos using peppers (as per the song), Mexican hot chocolate infused with vanilla and orange under the name ‘Sweet’ and candy necklaces.The album is the follow-up to 2021’s ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’ and ‘Blue Banisters’ and features the singles ‘The Grants’, ‘A&W’ and the title track. The organizers of Lollapalooza have announced the annual Chicago summer music festival's 2023 lineup. This year's headline acts are Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Lana Del Rey, Karol G, The 1975, and Tomorrow x Together.

Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar are among the headliners for this year's star-studded musical event.Lollapalooza announced its lineup on Tuesday, with headliners also including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, Karol G, Odesza, the 1975 and Tomorrow X Together. The event is slated for Aug.

Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and Kendrick Lamar are just three of dozens of names set to hit the stage at Lollapalooza this year!

The festival, which celebrated its 30 th anniversary in 2021, will take place across nine stages and four days.
