On Wednesday, September 15, the rapper shared rare post to Instagram, uploading a couple pictures showing his estranged wife wearing her controversial outfit at the Met Gala on Monday, September 13.

Kim Kardashian West may have hidden her face from the world at Monday's Met Gala, but that doesn't mean she was slacking in the makeup department. The 40-year-old reality star wore an all black, literal head-to-toe Balenciaga look, complete with a floor-length ponytail for the annual fashion event.

Kim Kardashian West walked the carpet in a black bodysuit that seemingly echoed outfits inspired by his recent musical performances.Kim rocked a custom Balenciaga look, including a T-shirt dress with an incorporated bodysuit, completed with jersey boots, Pantaleggings, jersey gloves and a mask that covered her entire face, except for her ponytail which stuck out from the back.Kim wasn't alone on the carpet, however.

Kim Kardashian stepped out onto the 2021 Met Gala steps in a daring blacked-out ensemble. The outfit was designed by Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia and featured black leggings that connected to black heels, a black tunic with bell sleeves, black gloves, a face obscuring headpiece, and a long black train.
