Before being sworn in as the nation’s first female, Black, and South Asian president, Kamala Harris stopped to bump fists with former President Barack Obama. The United States’ first Black president gleefully returned the gesture with a huge smile on his face. Though they both wore protective face masks during the inauguration, you can see it in their eyes!

An outfit with meaning. Kamala Harris has been sworn in as the first Black, first South Asian American and first female vice president of the United States of America. For the historical inauguration, she wore two young Black designers.
