The Wanted have cancelled an upcoming performance, saying it is "too soon" following the death of their bandmate Tom Parker in March.The band were scheduled to perform at the Live After Racing event at Newcastle Racecourse on 23 July, but have issued a statement stating that their performance will no longer be going ahead. Tom, who was one fifth of The Wanted, tragically passed away in March aged 33 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour 18 months earlier.

Andy "Fletch" Fletcher, keyboardist and one of the founding members of the British electronic band Depeche Mode, has died. He was 60 years old.  The band’s official Twitter account shared the news Thursday.  "We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness with the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member and bandmate Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher," the statement began. A cause of death has not been released.

Star Wars spacecraft has died aged 90.  Colin Cantwell, a conceptual artist and designer, passed away at his home on 22 May, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed.  Cantwell was most well-known for creating the Death Star, TIE fighter and X-wing Starfighter in the hit 1980s Star Wars film series.

Hollywood Reporter reported Sunday that Sierra Dall, Cantwell’s partner, confirmed that he died at his home in Colorado on Saturday.Cantwell designed the prototypes for the X-wing Starfighter, TIE fighter and Death Star.He also worked on films including “2001: A Space Odyssey,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and “WarGames.”Cantwell was born in San Francisco in 1932. Before working on Hollywood films, Cantwell attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he got a degree in animation.

Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey took to Instagram on Friday to tell her followers about her upcoming weekend that would be “bittersweet” after the death of her beloved husband. Kelsey, 32, shared a video of herself on her Instagram story telling fans that she had travelled to Ireland to celebrate her friend’s wedding, which is the first she’s attending since Tom’s death.The Wanted star Tom died age 33 in March following a brave battle with brain cancer.
