The King arrived in Romania last week for a private visit and a break from official engagements almost a month after his Coronation took place.The monarch is regular visitor to the country and is incredibly popular with the locals. As well as enjoying a strong relationship, he has a number of unique properties in the country’s Transylvanian region. His Majesty on holiday alone as Queen Camilla is thought to be enjoying some downtime at her home in Wiltshire.

It was revealed last year that King Charles is planning the largest ever series of official tours in the UK, the Commonwealth and to other countries around the world to "extend a hand of friendship and support.” While it has been understood that the monarch will prioritise visits to the United States, Australia, New Zealand and a number of Commonwealth realms in the Caribbean, there are a number of countries that will also be high on the agenda such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.The King and Queen undertook their first visit to Germany before the Coronation, but are expected to make several more trips in the coming few years. While Their Majesties will carry out many of the visits themselves, they are ably supported by key senior royals, such as The Prince and Princess of Wales, who are thought to be instrumental in The King's plans for future foreign tours.

The King and Queen have both seen an enormous rise in their popularity ever since His Majesty acceded to the throne and took on the job he had waited his entire life for. The couple have been married for 18 years and have worked incredibly hard to prepare for their leading roles ever since.

King Charles III thanked Armagh for the warm welcome he and Queen Camilla received during the second day of their visit to Northern Ireland.The son of the late Queen Elizabeth II attended a service at St Patrick’s Cathedral attended by various religious leaders while wife Camilla visited the Armagh Robinson Library and Museum, which is home to a number of local archaeological items. At the library Camilla met children from Drelincourt Primary School and volunteers from Dementia NI, before signing a commemorative photograph for the museum.

A special quilt featuring designs made by school kids has been presented to the Lord Lieutenant of Dumfries.

Just one week on since the formal Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Buckingham Palace has officially released two new photos to commemorate the historic occasion.The images, which were perfectly captured by photographer Hugo Burnand featured both the monarch and his wife as they posed for photographs in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace. In the first image shared by the palace, the King could be seen seated alongside the two future Kings of the UK, Prince William and his son Prince George.

The photo did, meanwhile, see Charles' other siblings, Princess Anne and Prince Edward in their royal regalia alongside the newly crowned king and Queen Camilla.Also included in the group photo were the rest of the senior royal members -- Prince William and Kate Middleton, Princess Anne's husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Prince Edward's wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Alexandra.Andrew's absence does not come as a major surprise, after he stepped back from his royal duties in November 2019 amid his controversial connection to disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who died in jail in August 2019.In addition to keeping him out of the photo, the embattled fourth sibling was also kept in the background throughout the weekend's coronation proceedings.

George, 9, and Charlotte, 8, sat next to their parents and in the same row as their grandparents for the show.In a sweet moment, as the king and queen arrived, Charlotte joined her mother as they curtsied to the king and queen as they took their seats.Not in attendance for the show was Prince Louis, 5.

Also joining them in the box were Prince William and Prince George, as well as other immediate members of the family.The royals had mini Union Jack flags to wave as they took in the show.Sunday's coronation concert is shaping up to be a big event.

Ed Sheeran has claimed he never received an invite to perform at this evening's Coronation Concert this evening, as fans begin to flood to central London for the special music event. Speaking earlier this month, the Thinking Out Loud singer, 32, expressed his desire to "set the record straight" after reports began circulating that he'd rejected the opportunity to perform before the newly crowned King and Queen.

Coronation celebrations are continuing in Scotland the day after King Charles III was officially crowned. Following the historic event on Saturday, a ceremony and parade will be held in Glasgow today as scores of other community celebrations are held across the country.
