Joseph Gordon-Levitt has officially begun filming Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley!
Several days after it was announced he had been cast in the the latest installment of the movie franchise, the 41-year-old actor joined co-star Eddie Murphy for an afternoon of filming on Wednesday (September 7) in downtown Los Angeles.

Joseph and Eddie, 61, were seen sharing a laugh outside of a hotel as they took a break from filming.
Also joining Joseph and Eddie on set was fellow co-star Taylour Paige.
As of right now, plot details for the new movie are being kept under wraps.
In an interview from last year, Eddie explained why he took nearly a decade off from acting.
