The two stars appear in a new cybersecurity awareness PSA from Amazon as a part of the company’s protect and connect program, which aims to teach Internet users how to protect themselves from phishing and other cybersecurity threats. The PSA features Jordan and Thompson saving unsuspecting internet users from sketchy internet schemes. The PSA comes as a follow up on Amazon’s commitments at the White House Cybersecurity Summit in 2021. “Being part of this PSA was an opportunity to work with Tessa again, one of my mentors — Paul Hunter, and to support the Amazon family to get this message out that cyber security and your privacy is really important,” Jordan said. “Nobody wants their information stolen. As much as you can protect your information, and your family and friends, you should do that.”

Annika Pham TrustNordisk has snapped up international sales rights to the new Danish crime thriller “Boundless,” based on fiction guru Jussi Adler-Olsen’s “Den Grænseløse,” his sixth novel in the Department Q series.   Danish helmer Ole Christian Madsen, credited for the HBO series “Banshee” (2013-16) and WWII drama “Flame & Citron” starring Mads Mikkelsen, has taken up the challenge of bringing Adler-Olsen’s suspenseful universe to the silver screens, working from a script by Jakob Weis (“The Interrogation”, “That Time of Year”). Christian Madsen will reunite with his “Banshee” actor Ulrich Thomsen (“Trom,” “Festen”). The latter reprises the role of detective Carl Mørck, which he played in Nordisk Film Production’s previous Department Q film version, “The Marco Effect”.

Brandy Norwood will star in a new psychological horror film called The Front Room, which is being written and directed by Max and Sam Eggers – the younger brothers of The Witch, The Lighthouse and The Northman filmmaker Robert Eggers.According to Variety, the A24 film – which was adapted from a short story by English author Susan Hill – follows a “young, newly pregnant couple forced to take in an ailing stepmother who has long been estranged from the family.” Alongside Norwood, The Front Room will also star Kathryn Hunter, Andrew Burnap and Neal Huff.“It’s official! THE FRONT ROOM from The Eggers’ Brothers. Can’t wait for y’all to see this,” Norwood wrote on Instagram when sharing the news.

Phoebe Bridgers, Limp Bizkit‘s Fred Durst and Snail Mail will star in an upcoming horror film called I Saw The TV Glow.The movie, which is fronted by actors Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine, has a strong musical contingent in the production with Durst, Lindsey Jordan (aka Snail Mail), Haley Dahl’s Sloppy Jane (featuring Bridgers), and King Woman on the roll-call. Bridgers was a former Sloppy Jane bassist before forging her path as a solo artist.According to the logline (via The Hollywood Reporter) the film is based on two teenage outcasts (played by Smith and Lundy-Paine) who bond over their shared love of a scary television show.
