Johnny Depp celebrated his victory in his defamation trial by having a FaceTime chat with longtime friend Robert Downey Jr.
A rep for the actor has confirmed to the New York Post that Johnny indeed spoke to RDJ on FaceTime after the verdict was announced last week.
At the time, Johnny was in a UK hotel room and one of his close friends revealed what happened in the room.

Johnny Depp and English guitarist Jeff Beck are set to release a joint album on July 15 after the actor joined Beck on his European tour. The album will include 13 tracks mostly covers of songs, featuring tunes from hit artists including the Beach Boys and Marvin Gaye. Depp is also including two original songs, with one song titled "This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr" as an homage to the actress. "It’s an extraordinary honor to play and write music with Jeff, one of the true greats and someone I am now privileged enough to call my brother," Depp said in a statement on Thursday, which also marks the actor's 59th birthday. Beck had unofficially teased the LP at a concert appearance last week, according to Variety. The album, titled "18", was apparently named after the energy both artists felt when recording and performing together. "We would joke about how we felt 18 again, so that just became the album title, too," said Beck in a statement.
Depp and Beck released a music video for one of their singles, titled “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr,” on Thursday along with the announcement. The song is one of Depp’s original compositions and is attributed as the catalyst for this collaborative album. The title references the late Hollywood actress Hedy Lamarr, who sued Warner Bros.
