Johnny Depp libel trial: Actor insists he 'couldn’t have punched' Amber Heard because he 'was wearing a finger cast’

One of Amber Heard‘s friends is speaking out about the scars she still has from her altercations with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Amber Heard told her acting coach that ex Johnny Depp would rather “destroy” her than let her go, according to new testimony in court on Friday (July 24).

Holding back tears, she told the court she tried to push him off, saying “Johnny stop, it’s me, stop please.”As she gasped for breath and writhed around, she said she cut her feet and arms on the glass.

Johnny Depp had been violent toward her as she took to the witness box for her second day of evidence in Depp’s libel case against a British tabloid over allegations of domestic violence. At Britain’s High Court in London, Depp’s lawyer, Eleanor Laws, sought to show via a series of video clips from an elevator at the couple’s Los Angeles apartment building that Heard fabricated any injury as a result of an incident on May 21, 2016 that ended up with police arriving on scene.
