Johnny Depp Announces New Album on His 59th Birthday

Amber Heard went shopping with her sister at a TJ Maxx discount retail store in the Hamptons on Thursday, amid a looming $8.3 million judgment following her loss in court earlier this month against ex-husband Johnny Depp in their multi-million dollar defamation trial.  The 36-year-old actress wore blue jeans and a long-sleeved, white button-down shirt while indulging in retail therapy with her younger sister, Whitney Henriquez, at the Bridgehampton location of the national chain retailer, per TMZ. According to the outlet, it's unclear what the two purchased — if anything — from the store.  While Heard perused the aisles on the East Coast wearing black loafers with her blonde hair tied back in a bun, Depp has "moved on" from the trial, and took to the stage to perform with Jeff Beck at the Helsinki Blues Festival on Sunday in Finland.

Amber Heard sat down for her first interview since the jury reached a verdict in her defamation trial against Johnny Depp, and she responded to many of the accusations that were leveled at her in court and on social media.

Despite his recent win in Virginia, Johnny Depp's legal journey is not over yet. The actor is due back in court in July and will be represented by his now-famous lawyer, Camille Vasquez. Depp is wrapped up in a 2018 assault-related lawsuit from a former colleague that is now slated to go to trial.

Amber Heard is getting back to her life. She was spotted publicly for the first time since the verdict was delivered in her and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp's defamation trial.  Heard was driven from a private airport in New Jersey into New York City on Friday where she was seen carrying a black Yves Saint Laurent purse with black slacks and a cropped green jacket.  After spending time in the city, the "Aquaman" actress was seen carrying a set of folders as she arrived back to Teterboro Airport in Bergen County. From there, she flew into Washington D.C.

Johnny Depp and English guitarist Jeff Beck are set to release a joint album on July 15 after the actor joined Beck on his European tour.  The album will include 13 tracks mostly covers of songs, featuring tunes from hit artists including the Beach Boys and Marvin Gaye. Depp is also including two original songs, with one song titled "This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr" as an homage to the actress.  "It’s an extraordinary honor to play and write music with Jeff, one of the true greats and someone I am now privileged enough to call my brother," Depp said in a statement on Thursday, which also marks the actor's 59th birthday.  Beck had unofficially teased the LP at a concert appearance last week, according to Variety.  The album, titled "18", was apparently named after the energy both artists felt when recording and performing together.  "We would joke about how we felt 18 again, so that just became the album title, too," said Beck in a statement.
