Olivia Newton-John died Monday morning surrounded by family and friends at her Southern California ranch following a long battle with cancer.“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer,” her family wrote in a statement posted on her official Facebook page. “Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer.”Upon her death, her family is asking that people donate to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund instead of sending flowers. My mother. My best friend,” Lattanzi wrote. Quickly after the news broke on Monday, John’s “Grease” co-star John Travolta made a statement on his Instagram.
