John Stamos Shares Emotional Tribute To Late Bob Saget At D23

Bob Saget’s final film, "Daniel’s Gotta Die," is scheduled to premiere as part of the 2022 Austin Film Festival lineup.  The comedy centers on a man named Daniel who is trying to reconnect with his family, only to realize his family is trying to kill him to get his inheritance. Saget appears in the project as a character named Lawrence, but it isn’t clear what Lawrence’s role in the movie is.  The film also stars Jason Jones, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Carly Chaikin and Iggy Pop. "Bob’s passing came as a shock to the entire ‘Daniel’s Gotta Die’ team.

John Stamos' four-year-old son is a fan of his father's old show, "Full House."  Stamos played Uncle Jesse on the show and during a recent interview with Us Weekly, Stamos revealed that he sometimes catches his son watching "Full House" with his nanny. "I'll catch them, [Billy and the nanny], watching ‘Full House’ sometimes," Stamos told the outlet.

John Mayer, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jeff Ross paid tribute to Bob Saget during a fundraising event earlier this week. The trio hosted the Scleroderma Research Foundation's annual fundraising event Cool Comedy, Hot Cuisine, an event the Full House star had attended since the '90s, in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. The night also served as a tribute to Saget, who died in January aged 65 after suffering an accidental blow to the head.

Lori Loughlin hit the red carpet on Wednesday night with the wives of her co-stars, honoring the late Bob Saget at a fundraising event. The actress posed alongside Saget's widow, Kelly Rizzo, and John Stamos' wife, Caitlin McHugh, in a floor-length halter gown as the trio smiled arm-in-arm for photographers. Rizzo wore a camel-colored high-neck dress with ruching, while McHugh opted for a dark floral midi with a thigh-high slit. Loughlin's appearance comes as it was announced that she had scored her first new movie role following her involvement in a 2019 college admissions scandal.Rizzo served as co-chair for the Scleroderma Research Foundation's Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine Event, which was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, John Mayer and Jeff Ross.

"Full House" star Bob Saget was honored Wednesday by celebrity friends at a charity event that was very close to the late comedian’s heart.  The star-studded guest list at The Scleroderma Research Foundation event – a nonprofit that funds research to find a cure – featured John Mayer, Rosie O’Donnell, Jimmy Kimmell, Joel McHale and more. "Full House" alums John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin were also in attendance. Saget had spearheaded the annual event for 30 years.

John Stamos, whose long Hollywood career included his role opposite Bob Saget on Full House, will recount it all in a new memoir to be published next fall. The book, titled If You Would Have Told Me, has been acquired by Henry Holt, a division of Macmillan Publishers.
