Black Lives Matter activist and mum of three has been shot in the head, according to a political party she is affiliated with. Sasha Johnson is said to be fighting for her life in hospital after the shooting in the early hours of Sunday, reports The Mirror.Sasha - the self-styled 'Black Panther of Oxford' - has previously been outspoken on racial issues.And news of the attack was announced online by Taking The Initiative.

Last year, after years of keeping mum about issues he had with the storytelling in the recent “Star Wars” sequel trilogy, John Boyega spoke out about the treatment that his character, Finn, received in those features. He mentioned how he felt that Disney and Lucasfilm shortchanged the character and didn’t give him powerful, showstopping “moments” to shine, which he felt was particularly troubling because Finn is one of the few Black characters in the franchise.

John Boyega doesn’t regret being honest about his “Star Wars” experience.

John Boyega first made waves when he led the Joe Cornish-directed mature science-fiction comedy film “Attack The Block,” an alien invasion comedy similar to Edgar Wright‘s zombie flick “Shaun of The Dead.” The comparison isn’t shocking since Wright was a producer on the film and a longtime friend of Cornish; the pair had co-written Marvel’s “Ant-Man” before exiting the project over creative differences.

The  trilogy actor made his film debut in the 2011 film playing Moses, the leader of a young squad of teenagers who battle a gang of nasty extraterrestrials looking to take over their neighborhood.
