John Boyega, Felicity Jones, Jack Reynor, Jodie Turner-Smith Unite for Thriller 'Borderland'

Prepare for a major release date shake-up at Disney, ok? It likely would have happened regardless of the COVID-19 pandemic, but Lucasfilm is pushing their “Star Wars” films back a year. Is that because plans have changed, and new ones have been made? That seems to be the case.

John Boyega might have confirmed something he’s alluded to for some time – he’s done donning the lightsaber. The “Star Wars” staple recently suggested he has “moved on” from his role as Finn in the popular franchise after the actor responded to a fan’s comment on an Instagram post that showed Boyega “back on set” and in a styling chair while wearing a plastic poncho and face covering to mitigate the possible coronavirus transmission.

It looks like John Boyega is done with Star Wars and won’t be returning to as Finn in the franchise.
