Orven Schanzer has died aged 97 after going into respiratory arrest.The late film editor died on 5 January in Los Angeles, his family confirmed. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa, and his nieces and nephews. Over the course of his 45 year career, Orven worked with names like Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Jayne Mansfield.

Taylor, 32, unleashed her fury and the anger of Swifties upon Damon, 53, on Monday (Jan. 24) after the Los Angeles Times published an interview with the British musician. After the Times’ Mikael Wood suggested that Taylor was an “excellent songwriter,” Damon said that she “doesn’t write her own songs” and that “there’s a big difference between a songwriter and a songwriter who co-writes.”
