Jesse Palmer is getting candid about his future on The Bachelor.
The 44-year-old former New York Giants quarterback took over as host for Clayton Echard‘s season, after Chris Harrison exited the franchise in June 2021.
In a new interview with E! News, Jesse discussed his first time as a host and addressed whether or not he’d return.

“I’ve had such an amazing time,” he said. “If they wanted to have those conversations, I’d be totally open and game to doing it.”
However, he added that he’s already got his hands full with all the drama happening this season.
“My hands are so full right now,” Jesse said. “I’ve got this six-foot-six football player…and I’m just trying to get him to the finish line.”
He continued, “Right now it’s kind of like that football mentality. It’s like, ‘Alright, next play. Let’s move the chains. Let’s get another first down. Let’s get Clayton to his next rose ceremony.’ So that’s really my focus at this point right now.”
“It’s so funny how different people view the show today versus 18 years ago when I did it,” he explained. “Back in 2004, reality TV was so new, and the show was so new. When I had to be in the locker room with my New York Giants teammates and try to explain to them what I was doing, they were like, ‘Dude, you’re a quarterback on the Giants, why are you going on a TV show to find a date? Like, that’s embarrassing.’”
He added, “Now this show has become such a big part of pop culture. Clayton‘s getting congratulated for having this opportunity [and] I’m getting congratulated and high-fived for getting to host.”
Jesse went on to say he was “loving it so much more this time around.”
“Bachelor Nation is a way, way bigger thing from when I was on the show,”

Actress Susan Sarandon, under fire for an insensitive tweet on a slain New York City police officer’s funeral, has apologized.
Susan Sarandon apologized Friday for sharing a meme likening the funeral turnout for a slain NYPD detective to "fascism," calling it "deeply disrespectful" and "insensitive." "I deeply regret the meme I recently shared on Twitter that included Officer Jason Rivera's funeral," the 75-year-old actress wrote in her statement. "I reacted quickly to the picture without connecting it to a police funeral and I realize now how insensitive and deeply disrespectful it was to make that point at that time. I sincerely apologize to the family of Officer's Rivera and Mora for causing additional pain during their time of grieving.
Setting the record straight! Craig Conover confessed to Paige DeSorbo that he hooked up with Kristin Cavallari — but his confirmation only ignited more drama.
Susan Sarandon seemingly shared a message to Twitter comparing cops gathered to pay their respects to fallen NYPD officer Jason Rivera to fascists on Wednesday. The image Sarandon posted featured a tweet written by podcaster Danny Haiphong. The original tweet showed a photo of police officers lining the New York City streets and read, "I’m gonna tell my kids this is what fascism looks like." Sarandon's photo added the words, "So, if all these cops weren’t needed for CRIME that day, doesn’t that mean they aren’t needed ANY day?" It is unclear if the photo was made by Sarandon or a re-shared post. A representative for the actress did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for further comment. Rivera and Wilbert Mora, 27, were shot on the evening of Jan.
