Jennifer Garner proved to be mom of the year earlier this week. On Monday, after the actress picked her daughter Seraphina up from school, she took the 12-year-old shopping for some new athletic items.The two were spotted shopping at Big 5 Sporting Goods in Santa Monica, California.

The day after the Golden Globe winner took Seraphina, as well as son Samuel Affleck, 9, to Staples in West Los Angeles for some back-to-school supplies, the mother-daughter duo hit up Big 5 Sporting Goods in Santa Monica to make a few more purchases. Jennifer and her look-alike middle child dressed fairly casual for the shopping outing, but looked super chic nonetheless.

Seraphina and Samuel Affleck are more than prepared for the new school year thanks to mom Jennifer Garner. On Sunday (Aug. 22), the Alias actress, 49, took daughter Seraphina, 12, and son Samuel, 9, to Staples in West Los Angeles to purchase supplies just in time for her kids to head back to school. Jennifer, who shares both kids, plus daughter Violet, 15, with ex Ben Affleck, was dressed super casual in a a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and sneakers for the outing.
