Jean Smart hilariously called out her fellow nominee Rachel Brosnahan while accepting her Emmy!
The 70-year-old actress won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks at the 2022 Emmy Awards on Monday night (September 12) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Rachel was also nominated in the category for her work in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

During her acceptance speech, Jean opened up about an early birthday gift that Rachel sent her ahead of the Emmys. Her birthday is on Tuesday.
“She’s very classy, she sent me this box of these unbelievable designer cookies, they’re like 5 lbs. each — and I thought that was so nice and classy until I realized that she was hoping that I wouldn’t be able to fit into a single dress in Hollywood,” Jean said. “Thanks anyway.”
