Messages of love and support have been flooding in for Janey Godley after she revealed the devastating news her cancer has returned.
Janey informed fans her latest test has revealed signs of the disease in her abdomen in a video posted on Twitter yesterday (Tuesday).
Fans and pals from across the showbiz world have rushed to send their best wishes to the Scots comedian, including Lorraine Kelly and actress Julie Graham.
Taking to Twitter last night, Janey admitted she'd been crying as she read the responses to her announcement.
She said: "Thanks everyone, been crying here reading all your responses. My family want to thank you for all the love today."
Lorraine simply said: ""Brave, strong, funny, big hearted."
Julie Graham, who starred in Two Doors Down and Benidorm, said: "Sorry to hear that. Much love," adding a red love heart emoji.
Scots television personality and former model, Gail Porter, wrote: "Huge love x"
But it's not just been celebrities who have shown their support, many fans have too, with one tweeting: "God bless you, so praying for your treatment to be successful and we have many more years of your fabulous comedy. Love you so much."
Another said: "So much love your way."
A third wrote: "Hi Janey Sending love and best wishes from Melbourne Australia. I’ve been loving your tweets. Oh Janey I wish you well, hope the next round of treatment goes well and that your tour is FABULOUS. Much love."
