A first look at the new season of Outlander has arrived!
The sixth season is based on Diana Gabaldon‘s book, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, starting up after Claire (Caitriona Balfe) escaped a violent encounter with Lionel Brown.
With the impending threat of the Revolutionary War on the horizon, Claire and Jamie (Sam Heughan) are forced to decide what’s best for their family.
“It’s starting. If only they knew what was coming,” Claire says in the clip.
The new season will feature eight episodes, down from the 12-16 episodes in the previous seasons. The show has already been renewed for a seventh season, which will be double in size at 16 episodes.
It will premiere Sunday, March 6 at 9pm on all of Starz’s platforms. Check out the full trailer down below!
