It’s official – James Marsden is heading back to Westworld!
On Saturday night (June 4), the cast of the HBO series attended the 2022 ATX Festival to promote the upcoming fourth season.
During the panel discussion, the 48-year-old actor made a surprise on stage, announcing that he returning for the new season.

“Sometimes you have to go away to come back,” James shared, via Deadline. “We learn to speak cryptically on this show. This has been 7 years of our show and yeah, it’s an amazing thing to be a part of and see where the story goes. From the beginning, I didn’t know where it was all gonna go but I’m glad to see it now.”
If you didn’t know, James played Teddy Flood for the first two seasons of Westworld.
HBO dropped a trailer for Westworld season four last month and also announced the new season will premiere on June 26. All eight episodes of the new season will debut at 9 p.m. on HBO and will also be available to stream through HBO Max.
