Tom Grennan has spoken to NME about his recent attack ordeal in New York, as well as revealing that work is almost complete on his third album.Last month, the singer-songwriter was the victim of an “unprovoked attack and robbery” in the US, which led to him suffering a ruptured ear, torn ear-drum and issue with his previously fractured jaw – forcing him to postpone a number of shows.After telling fans that he was in “good spirits” and that “the show must go on“, Grennan last week told NME that he was feeling “positive” and looking to move past the incident.“To be honest, I’m trying to take positives from it,” he said. “The guy was obviously in ill health.

James Bay has announced plans for a UK and Ireland tour and shared a video for his recent single ‘One Life’.The Hitchin singer-songwriter will hit the road in the autumn kicking off at Bournemouth O2 Academy on November 20.The jaunt will also call at Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh, Dublin and Birmingham before wrapping up at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on December 2 and Bristol O2 Academy the following night (3).Pre-sale tickets will go on sale next Wednesday (May 25) from 9am until 8am on Friday (May 27). Tickets will then go on general sale at 9am on the same day. You can purchase tickets for the shows here.Bay has also posted the video for ‘One Life’ which charts “a relationship between a couple, while milestone memories are captured in a way that resemble a very personal and intimate home movie,” according to a press release.

Daniel Avery will release his new album, ‘Ultra Truth’, later this year. The record features guest vocal contributions from Haai, Sherelle, AK Paul, Marie Davidson, Kelly Lee Owens, James Massiah and HTRK’s Jonnine Standish.“’Ultra Truth’ finds me in a different place to where I’ve been before”, he says.

These tracks have yet to be officially released by Bay, though he has included them in his live sets in 2022 (via setlist.fm).
