Jackie Bird will return to BBC Scotland to present a special one-off show over the festive period. The legendary Scots presenter will make a comeback to our screens on December 22 when Scotland’s People 2020: A Thank You airs on the BBC Scotland channel.

An American Airlines flight had to turn around on Saturday after it reportedly hit a bird that damaged the plane’s windscreen.
