Jack Harlow took over Saturday Night Live!
The 24-year-old rapper hopped on the Studio 8H stage to test his acting chops last night as the host – and performer – of this week’s episode. Kicking off the night, Heidi Gardner as the PBS NewsHour anchor Judy Woodruff questioned three controversial Republican candidates in the midterm elections – Kenan Thompson as Herschel Walker, Mikey Day as Dr. Oz, and (finally the return of) Cecily Strong as Kari Lake. For the opening monologue this week, Jack was not afraid to poke fun at himself, even calling out some of the digs he gets online. For instance, he said:
While some of the material received a few laughs, it was all around a very awkward moment in the show – especially when the Whats Poppin artist went into the crowd to speak to an audience member. You can take a look at the cringe monologue (below):
Given everything that has gone down with Kanye West over the past couple of weeks, including a slew of antisemitic comments and brands cutting ties with him, it does not surprise us that SNL decided to mock the 45-year-old rapper – specifically him getting shown the door by Skechers. As Perezcious readers may recall, shortly after getting dropped by Adidas, Ye showed up uninvited to the Skechers headquarters to demand a meeting but was quickly rejected. And of course, “The Weekend Update,” hosted by Colin Jost and Mi

Over the next couple days, Tuesday’s midterm election results will be debated for hours on end. There have been plenty of wins on both sides, but one thing is clear: the night’s biggest loser was Donald Trump.

Colin Jost and Michael Che were back at it again on Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” lampooning the events of the week. This time, some of their targets included CNN, Herschel Walker and Kyrie Irving.
Saturday Night Live reimagined the Democratic Party’s 2024 Presidential candidate search as a trailer for a horror movie “from the producers of Smile and the twisted minds of Morning Joe.”
Saturday Night Live took on the Republicans’ lineup of high-profile midterm candidates Herschel Walker, Dr. Oz and Kari Lake, skewering them for their lack of experience and extremist ideas even as they have a good shot at winning their races, driven by their celebrity status.
Jack Harlow was all game to roast himself during the Saturday Night Live monologue. The “First Class” singer took the stage of Studio 8H and didn’t waste any time poking fun at himself. Watch the monologue in the video posted above.
"The View" host Sunny Hostin admitted Monday that Republican Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker did better than she expected in the debate and said he likely "gained votes." "He did so much better than I thought he did that I thought he gained votes and I’m not talking about Warnock. I’m talking about Walker.
