However, it turns out James went ahead and got one on a different occasion. "I finally got one, you know," the Cold Feet told Holly and Phil who were audibly and visibly surprised. And it has a link to one of Manchester's football clubs.
"I went to Alex Ferguson's grandson's stag because I’m a good friend of his son. So it was me, Jake’s father, and 25-year-old boys and I was the only person who got a stick and poke tattoo of MUFC [Manchester United Football Club]," he explained, with stick and poke referring to a DIY inking that usually lasts between five and ten years.
"I did. It’s faded now, it looks like MULC, like Manchester United Lacrosse Club. But yeah I got it," James added. And it's not the first time he has surprised a couple of TV hosts this week.
