ITV The Masked Dancer viewers convinced of Odd Socks' identity after 'soap' red herring

Viewers of The Masked Dancer have wasted no time in getting stuck into guessing the identities of the latest extravagant characters to hit our screens. The bonkers spin-off the ITV singing show The Masked Singer returned to screens on Saturday night (September 3) with host Joel Dommett.
Candlestick, Odd Socks, Prawn Cocktail, Astronaut, Scissors, and the show’s first duo – Pillar and Post – all took to the stage during episode one. And it was Astronaut who became the first to be unmasked with the panel - made up of Davina McCall, Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross, and Peter Crouch - left open-mouthed at their identity.
Oti started freaking out as her childhood crush, and Desperate Housewives star, Jesse Metcalfe revealed himself as the dancing character. And next Saturday the remaining characters will follow in the footsteps of last night's dancers as they head onto the iconic dancefloor.

Before then, viewers have been throwing out their guesses for the five characters who made it through the first show with Amanda Holden being tipped to be Scissors and ITV's Rob Rinder, best known as Judge Rinder, predicted to be behind Candlestick.
But fans are convinced they know who is behind the mask of Odd Socks following their performance to the Jonas Brothers' toe-tapping teack, What's a Man Gotta Do - despite a soap-based clue that could be a bit of a red herring. One of the clues suggested the celebrity is warm, cosy and likes to dip her toe in different adventures.
