Stephen Mulhern has left fans disappointed as he made an announcement about his ITV show. In For A Penny, which also has off-screen involvement from fellow ITV star Ant and Dec, has been back on screens every Saturday evening.
The pop-up game show based on the original Saturday Night Takeaway feature sees the TV star take to the streets of different towns and city's across the country, challenging unsuspecting members of the public for a chance to win anything from the price of their petrol to a sizeable cash prize.
Prior to Saturday night's show (May 28) Stephen shared a clip of the episode, which was filmed in Yarmouth, showing a man pretending to ride a woman posing as a donkey. Adding a caption to the post, the presenter wrote: "Don’t be a donkey… Instead tune into the final episode of the series! In For A Penny is on tonight at 6.30pm on ITV.”

And the news it was the last episode quickly upset fans. @bl00t00n tweeted: "Noooooo not the final episode. It’s only been on for so many weeks. It’s not long enough…." @laineyni said: "Ah no its not ending brightens up Saturday nights bring it back soon."
@@HollyDevery replied: "Last episode? :( so sad but I’m sure it will be back again." @BathBerni wrote: "Gutted it’s the last one; will have to survive on repeats! @ITV had better recommission!" @raydawnfran shared: "You have just ruined my day by announcing it is the final episode of the series."
Many other viewers were also making a demand about the series. @Kez28 Final episode? That was quick. Not only is each episode too short, there are not enough episodes too. Can't wait to watch gt yarmouth though as its not far from me."
