ITV Love Island fans make same complaint as Maya Jama returns with islanders for 'explosive' reunion

Love Island fans were left making the same complaint as they watched Maya Jama return to screens as she was joined by this year's string of islanders and bombshell contestants to get all the gossip just days after the final of the second-ever winter series.
On Sunday night (March 19), the host was back in charge as the ITV2 dating show hosted its 'explosive reunion just a week after the grand final of the first of two 2023 series' took place in South Africa.
The final, which took place last Monday (March 13), saw Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan beat fellow couples Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, who landed up in second place, and Samie Elishi and Tom Clare, who finished in third position, and host Maya Jama return to the South African villa. Tanya Mahenga and Shaq Muhammad placed fourth following a public vote.

It was revealed later that the Manchester PE and Science teacher and the social worker, from Bedford, were viewers' clear winners as they walked away with a huge 44 per cent of the whole final public vote, ahead of Lana and Ron's second place of 30%. Tom and Samie took 24% of the final voting figures but it was bad news for Shaq and Tanya as, despite being the first couple to drop the 'L-bomb' before making their relationship official on their final date, as they claimed just 2% of the final vote.
But the talk wasn't on their win during the reunion as Lana and Ron were forced to address feud rumours after they were spotted 'having a row' on their flight home following the final of Winter Love Island while Shaq didn't hold back as he faced Martin Akinola about comments he made about his girlfriend, Tanya.
