It was all change on Good Morning Britain as well as in government as the fallout from Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak's departure from the cabinet began. Susanna Reid and Ed Balls were back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Wednesday (July 6).
And of course, the latest news was dominated by reaction to the Health Secretary and Chancellor resigning in a double blow to the Prime Minister. Boris Johnson was also rocked by a number of other, quieter, exits last night (July 5), threatening to force him out of No 10.
Mr Sunak and Mr Javid both quit, with Sunak commenting that 'the public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously' while Javid commented that "it is with most enormous regret that I must tell you that I can no longer, in good conscience, continue serving in this government."

Both former ministers were swiftly replaced on Tuesday evening with Nadhim Zahawi promoted to be the new Chancellor and Steve Barclay becoming Health Secretary.
Bringing viewers the latest updates and analysis from a dramatic night in politics, Susanna and former Labour MP Ed ditched the studio and brought the show live from outside Westminster.
A tweet from GMB featuring a clip of the pair opening the latest edition of the news show read: "'When you have the government in crisis, everything stops. Today the biggest danger is the people behind the Prime Minister.'
