Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh was pulled off the show on Tuesday morning after suffering from a sudden allergy. Her co-host Richard Madeley shared his concerns for the presenter after she appeared to have 'the worst hay fever he'd ever seen'.
The political news correspondent appeared on the breakfast show with 'streaming red eyes' and a 'swollen face' but despite her struggle to read the news, Ranvir was determined to carry on with her job. But midway through, reporter Louisa James was drafted in to replace her.
Despite sharing a statement on her illness just hours before, Ranvir appeared on the breakfast show wearing glasses to help with ease her 'sore eyes'. A post she shared on Twitter read: "Anyone else got the worst most painful stinging hay-fever they’ve ever had? I can barely keep my eyes open. If there was a vaccine for this I’d sign up asap."

During the show Richard told Ranvir that her allergy was 'the worst hay fever he'd ever seen' and feared she 'wouldn't get through' reading today's news. In response, Ranvir admitted: "I don't know what's going on. That's why I look like this today. I'm OK, thanks. Just streaming eyes."
But shortly after, Ranvir was replaced by reporter Louisa James to read the news.
After Susanna Reid asked how Ranvir was doing, Louisa said: "She's OK, well we think she's going to be OK. We think Ranvir may have had an allergic reaction. She's got a sore eye. She's just resting."
Susanna then later said that Ranvir would be 'back in a moment' but she failed to return to the show. It hasn't yet been confirmed whether or not Ranvir will be back on the

Richard was replaced by financial expert and frequent stand-in host Martin Lewis, who also took over at the helm on Monday's show. Following Martin's first stint this week however, the money-saving pro told his online followers that he'd be back again on Tuesday, but would be bowing out for the rest of the week.
