Leyla Cavanagh is currently on a downward spiral as she continues to be in denial about her drug addiction in Emmerdale. The wedding planner has denied she has a problem for months after her party pal Suzy Metron encouraged her to stop and get help.
Earlier this week, viewers of the ITV soap were stunned when the wedding planner fired Priya Sharma from Take A Vow amid making a deal with a drug dealer. During Monday's episode, the business owner ended up firing her colleague on the spot for gross misconduct after she used the company credit card to take a client to lunch.
Later, Leyla called her drug dealer Callum when he ominously said he would be ‘calling in a favour’ at some point. But she didn't seem to care and happily got her latest batch of drugs ready while celebrating she had the business all to herself.

And despite vowing to kick her drug habit, she agreed to store drugs for Callum in exchange for cash amid her wedding planning business' worsening financial situation. However, she was shocked when Callum showed up with a larger amount than she agreed to stash and appeared uneasy about the deal.
But with Callum not making it easy for her to back out, Leyla eventually accepted the offer and stored the haul in her office. However, viewers saw Matty Barton break into Leyla's office at the end of Wedneday's episode (August 3) after seeing Suzy and Callum together outside.
