Dancing On Ice fans took to Twitter to call for a major shake-up as they complained that the 2022 series final was 'boring' to watch. Professional dancer Regan Gascoigne, the son of footballing legend Paul Gascoigne, lifted the trophy with his skating partner Karina Manta.
Viewers moaned that they were fed up of every dance getting a perfect score as Regan, Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt competed in the final.
The judges awarded 10s across the board on the ITV celeb skating contest. And while fans watching at home were impressed with the talent, many said the scoring in final was 'pointless.'
@DavidMackayy tweeted: "10’s yet again.. what a shocker."

@SuzySays typed: "Has anyone not scored 10 this evening."
@Sheila_Blackery said sarcastically:" Guess what the next scores might b... starts with 1 and ends in 0."
@ChrissiX said: "This is a farce tonight. Why are the judges scoring them if they are just going to give everyone 10’s? Have them there to comment but scrap them scoring the final."
And @Cameron_934 complained: "Literally every dance will get 40 so it’s incredibly boring to watch."
During the final, while the judges score performances, the results are based entirely on the public vote.
Some fans of the long-running show, which launched in 2006, also think it's 'unfair' to include professional dancers in the celeb line-up.

In a shake-up to its typical Sunday schedule, ITV has confirmed that the Dancing on Ice final will not air on Sunday 20 March, due to a scheduling conflict. The dancing show's finale has been pushed back by a week so the channel can cover the FA Cup quarter-final match between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool. The football match is due to kick off at 5.15pm and coverage will be on ITV for three hours, meaning that the programme would clash with Dancing on Ice’s usual prime-time 6.30pm slot on ITV1.
