Corrie viewers were spooked by brutal soap scenes as teenager Kelly Neelan plotted her revenge against Gary Windass. Kelly was left distraught after finding out from close family friend Sharon Geary that her late father Rick Neelan had been murdered by the man she looks on as a father figure.
Kelly, played by by Millie Gibson, has been living with Gary and his wife Maria as a family, unaware that the former loan shark killed her dad back in June 2019 after Gary discovered that his boss had planned to bury him alive. Troubled Kelly, who has become a reformed character after being wrongly accused of murdering Seb Franklin, has now reverted back to the dark side after Sharon blurted out that Gary wasn't to be trusted.
Before the start of Tuesday night's episode, as Kelly's exit week gets underway, Corrie fans were warned of 'scenes of a threatening nature'. And just seconds in they were freaked out by the menacing sight of Kelly appearing behind Gary wielding a baseball bat to the pounding soundtrack of Massive Attack's Angel.

@karen_renton asked: "I thought he was dead." @VampLover27 wondered: "Where was
