A blast from Phill Whittaker's arrived to potentially derailed his and Fiz Stape's upcoming wedding on Monday night's episode of Coronation Street - and she was a familiar face to soap fans. Jaws dropped as Phill's ex wife Camilla stepped out of a car and greeted the rowing couple.
The drama started when Fiz was worked up by Phill's mum Mimi Halliday staying with them after sustaining a sprained hip, claiming that Evelyn Plummer's dog Cerberus had knocked her over. While sharing a conciliatory drink together the bridesmaids dresses ended up covered in red wine and Mimi blamed the dog again.
As a slanging match ensued Phill was annoyed with Fiz for not giving Mimi the benefit of the doubt over Evelyn. Then they were both stunned when a beautiful woman appeared and introduced herself to Fiz.

Phill was baffled as to why she had turned up but told Fiz he can't wait to marry her and reassured Camilla is no threat. And viewers flocked to Twitter as they recognised the actress.
Camilla is played by Louise Marwood, who previously appeared in fellow ITV soap Emmerdale as Chrissie White. The news of her appearance on the cobbles ewas revealed earlier this month when Louise confirmed rumours she was joining the soap. In a tweet, Louise said: "I am joining @itvcorrie it’s true, but only for a few eps. Hate to disappoint. Fab character though…"
@ASuperGav cheered on Twitter: "Yay! Chrissy White from Emmerdale!" @devereaux_pam wrote: "Phill's ex wife Camilla...no that's Chrissie White with red hair." And @Samanth2235612 exclaimed: "It’s Chrissie White from Emmerdale!!!!"
