Coronation Street fans were amazed to see Kevin Webster appear to grow a full beard by the end the soap's latest instalment. Viewers were startled when the mechanic appeared to flit from a more clean-shaven look at the start of Friday night's episode to sporting a 'full beard' in less than hour.

Kevin admitted he still had feelings for Abi as she planned to flee with Abi to Costa Rica before the horror crash that killed Imran.

And at the end, as Kevin waved an overjoyed Abi off to make a new start with Alfie, fans clocked he had a 'full beard.'
