Alesha appears quite elegant in a white dress. The Britain’s Got Talent judge provided very little context with the picture, simply tweeting the hashtag #engaged along with an emoji of a diamond engagement ring. However, the ring in the picture appears to be anything but.

The tweet garnered dozens of responses from people jokingly congratulating David and Alesha with one person describing the development in their relationship as ‘unbelievable’. But while many missed the punchline, others rushed to correct those who had actually thought the two BGT judges had really got engaged.
One said: “It’s just a joke. He wasn’t being serious”. Another added: “People seem to have lost their sense of humour, if David was going to get engaged to anyone it would be Simon Cowell haha.
”But not everyone was so quick to believe David and Alesha were a believable couple. “Is this wishful thinking from DW?” asked one. Meanwhile, someone who clearly knows their celebrity trivia said: “It's not true Alesha has been married to someone else since 2017.
”Alesha has indeed been married since 2017 to dancer and choreographer Azuka Ononye. Azuka is her second husband after she was briefly married to So Solid Crew rapper Harvey between 2005 and 2006. David has however been single after his five year marriage to ex-wife Lara Stone, a Dutch fashion model, ended in divorce
