ITV has made significant changes to its normal daytime TV schedule during National Mourning. The channel has altered its usual run of programmes on Monday, September 12 to make way for special news coverage honouring Queen Elizabeth II.
Broadcasters changed their schedules drastically since the BBC delivered the sad news that Her Majesty had died on Thursday evening (September 8). Both the BBC and ITV will air a series of dedicated reports and documentaries throughout the National Mourning period, which will be in place until seven days after her funeral on Monday, September 19.
On Friday, the day after the Queen's death, ITV completely revised its planned schedule. Good Morning Britain delivered a live broadcast hosted by Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard and then from 9am until the evening, viewers watched an extended ITV News Special.

ITV has revealed its schedule for today (Monday, September 12) with some of its usual programmes axed in replacement of special news programmes dedicated to King Charles III and the late Queen Elizabeth III.
Good Morning Britain returned as usual from 6am but ran for an extended period until 10am. This meant that Lorraine, which usually airs from 9am to 10am, would not be showing.
This Morning, which usually begins at 10am, was then replaced by an ITV news special The King’s Tour - Westminster until 11am, where the King delivered a speech to Parliament.
This Morning will then return for a special episode at a later time from 11am until 1pm featuring stories and memories from people who met The Queen during her reign.
Loose Women, which usually runs from 12:20pm until 1:30pm has also been axed in replacement for
