Bury-born swimmer James Guy has proven to be the star of Team GB’s Olympic efforts so far - securing gold medals in the 4×200 metres men’s freestyle and the 4x100m mixed medley relay.
James, who was born in Bury and went to school in Timperley, could be set to add a third medal to his name when he competes in the men’s 4x100m medley relay on Sunday morning.
