Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed he is in regular contact with Sir Alex Ferguson who provides him with advice.
The legendary Scot enjoyed unparalleled success with United between 1986 and 2013. Following his retirement, the Reds struggled to adapt to a post-Ferguson era and have not won the Premier League since.
Erik ten Hag's arrival at the start of the season came after United notched their worst points tally in Premier League history. However, the Dutchman has managed to turn the ship around leading the club to Carabao Cup glory, next season's Champions League and the FA Cup final.

In an interview with The Times, Ten Hag admitted he has sought advice from Ferguson during United's successful season. "We were aware of it," the manager explained when asked about the dip since the 81-year-old's departure.
"I informed myself. After Sir Alex left, the culture changed over the years. One of the biggest qualities Sir Alex had was to have high standards. I wanted to bring it back in, so that everyone in this organisation lives the highest standards and the football players too.
"I talk to Sir Alex regularly. He gives his opinion and I’m happy to have that opinion. With all his experiences and his intelligence it’s really valuable to talk with him. From Sir Alex, I learn a lot because he’s such a legend. It gives me inspiration, how to manage."
After the Carabao Cup victory over Newcastle, Ten Hag invited Ferguson into the changing room to meet the players and say a few words. The Scottish manager is likely to be in attendance at Wembley on Saturday when the Reds take on Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
