Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Peter Chernin’s Chernin Group has formed a new investment company, Night Capital, with digital talent-management and media firm Night Inc., whose biggest client is major YouTube creator MrBeast. Night Capital, which has funding commitments of $100 million from TCG, is focused on acquiring majority interests in “consumer-facing companies in partnership with leading talent,” the companies announced. The firm said it will team up with creators who “will be key partners in driving the strategic vision and future business growth,” they said — modeled on the business ventures of MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, who has launched a national burger chain and a games company.

The Countess of Wessex and her husband Prince Edward were joined by their daughter Lady Louise Windsor as they thanked members of the public for their tributes to the Queen at Balmoral Castle. Sophie Wessex, 57, and Prince Edward, 58, were accompanied by their 18 year old daughter to greet those lining the streets outside the castle following a church service held in honour of the late Queen Elizabeth II earlier on in the day. Many members of the royal family were present for the service and to greet the public, though Sophie and Edward’s son James, Viscount Severn, were nowhere to be seen.

James Corden, Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel have paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, who died on Thursday (September 8).The Queen died aged 96 at Balmoral on Thursday afternoon, bringing her 70-year reign to an end. “The King and the Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow,” a statement from Buckingham Palace read.Following the announcement, Corden paid tribute during the opening segment of The Late Late Show, describing her as “universally adored” and representing the “good in this world”.“She is the only queen most of us have ever known,” Corden said.

The King and Queen Consort Camilla have left Balmoral en route to Aberdeen airport where they will fly back to London. King Charles was pictured in the back of a car, with Queen Consort Camilla in the front passenger seat, as they were driven in convoy over the River Dee towards Ballater.

In the televised speech, Charles will pay tribute to Britain's longest reigning monarch – who died yesterday at the age of 96 – and pledge his duty to a life of service.The new King will be formally proclaimed monarch at a historic Accession Council tomorrow.

Since the news of her death on September 8, at the age of 96, there have been questions over what happens after Queen Elizabeth dies and who will take over the throne after she passes away. Her passing was confirmed by Buckingham Palace with a statement that read: “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

The Sunny Chan-directed film opened Wednesday in Hong Kong and Macau at 61 theatres, playing a total of 608 sessions. That gave it an accumulated box office of HK$1,986,701 ($255,000). “Table for Six,” which chronicles a family’s holiday gathering where food, love, friendship, jealousy and relationships are on the menu, had originally been planned as a dish to be served at Chinese New Year, in February. And producers had assembled a cast of major Hong Kong and regional talents, including Dayo Wong, Stephy Tang, Louise Cheung, Ivana Wong, Lin Min-Chen and Chan Charm Man.
