Asda has recently opened its latest 'Asda On the Move' convenience stores in the north west.
The stores in Skelmersdale, Huyton, and Knowsley Earlsfield are part of the huge national rollout of 200 sites - with a number of additional stores planned to open across the region on the way.
The mini supermarkets allow shoppers to stock up on essentials when they fill up with fuel at roadside locations.

So far, 30 of the sites have opened their doors on sites owned by billionaire brothers Mohsin and Zuber Issa, who built their Euro Garages empire from a Bury petrol station and bought Asda in 2020 for a £6.8bn deal.
Each new site will stock 2,500 products and will also partner with Greggs and Subway, the company has said.
The sites will offer a range of Asda own brand, premium own label ‘Extra Special’ and branded products, from key categories including bakery, fresh, chilled and ambient, along with a more extensive range of fresh produce than is traditionally found in forecourt convenience stores.
Mohsin and Zuber Issa said last year: “Our plans to rollout Asda On the Move will bring Asda to new customers, enabling them to pick up food-to-go, essentials for an evening meal, or treat themselves to premium Extra Special products from a range of convenient locations.
“We continue to see significant opportunities to drive innovation across the business and we look forward to working with the Asda team to execute our growth strategy.”
The stores will also receive a selection of new products, including lines from celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo’s range of dishes created exclusively for Asda, such as his ‘Mamma’s’ lasagne.
