On Thursday there were reports that Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta died in his sleep at 67. The actor was in the Dominican Republic at the time of his passing where he had been shooting the film Dangerous Waters. His rep confirmed the actor’s death to the Hollywood Reporter.

Gordon Ramsay is channeling his inner Grand Designs as he prepares to finish a giant basement beneath his £7m London mansion. The celebrity chef, whose second Cornwall home is due to be demolished after a record-breaking sale in the county, won planning permission for the new build in July last year. Fern Hawkins has headed off to Spain for her hen do, after she and England footballer Harry Maguire tied the knot in a low-key ceremony. Fern, 27, and Harry, 29, exchanged vows at Crewe Registry Office on Thursday 12 May, with just their nearest and dearest in attendance including the professional footballer's parents who travelled from Sheffield.

“Lopez vs. Lopez,” a working-class comedy starring George Lopez and real-life daughter Mayan Lopez, is heading to NBC.The network has picked up the comedy from Universal Television to series.

Selome Hailu NBC’s comedy pilot “Lopez vs. Lopez,” created by George Lopez and his daughter Mayan Lopez, has been ordered to series.The multi-cam stars both Lopezes and is described as a working-class family comedy about dysfunction, reconnection and all the pain and joy in between. In April, Variety learned exclusively that Selenis Leyva, Brice Gonzalez and Matt Shively would also star, with Laci Mosley and Kiran Deol in recurring roles.

EXCLUSIVE: LA-based Tricycle Logic has set a U.S. theatrical release for Lebanese director Oualid Mouaness’ debut feature, 1982. The coming-of-age drama premiered at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival where it won the NETPAC Award. It will release domestically beginning June 10 at the Quad Cinema in New York and on June 24 will expand to Los Angeles with a national rollout to follow throughout the summer.
