Inside Strictly's Tony Adams' stunning Cotswolds home with huge garden and gym

As he's made his way onto the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor, former professional footballer Tony Adams is has said goodbye to his football boots and hello to his dancing feet. And while the 55 year old footballer may be spending long days rehearsing for the show alongside fellow contestants Will Mellor, Kaye Adams and Kym Marsh, the sporting legend has been able to spend some time relaxing at his stunning home in the Cotswolds. After purchasing the £2million property in 2002, Tony now shares the home with his wife of 14 years, Poppy Teacher and their children.The eight-bedroom home is set within five and a half acres and features a drawing room, study, conservatory and cellar.

The property also features a two-bedroom cottage, workshop, office, garage, stables, paddock and tennis court. Over on Instagram, Tony often gives fans a glimpse inside his home and has shared a selection of snaps of the sprawling property. In one photo, the football legend can be seen smiling alongside his family at Christmas time in one of the home’s sitting rooms.

As the group posed for the camera, fans were given a peek into the room which features white panelled walls and a soft cream sofa which is decorated with hen patterned cushions. With the group celebrating the festive season, a large Christmas tree could be seen in front of the room’s floor to ceiling window. Meanwhile the sitting room also features a large built- in bookshelf which is filled with the sportsman’s favourite reads as well as a selection of ornaments.
