According to reports, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are splitting their time between Portugal and the UK after 36 year old Jack secured a job overseas. The couple, who are parents to one year old son August, are thought to spend half of their time in each country as they balance their personal and professional commitments. But before making the move, the doting parents called Windsor and London their home, with businessman Jack even growing up in the capital.
In fact, Jack’s mother Nicola still lives in the South London property that she moved into with her late husband George and their family in 2001, according to The Telegraph in 2018. The period conversion can be found in a gated community in Wandsworth, near Battersea Park, making it an ideal place for the young family to enjoy fun-filled days out. Similarly, with its gated entrance, the property is perfect for the royal pair if they ever wanted to visit with little August.
Like Nicola’s home, Jack and Eugenie’s former Ivy Cottage residence at Kensington Palace boasted a series of enhanced security measures.The London property is entirely gated, is fitted with CCTV and featured areas that the public cannot access. Any guests hoping to visit can expect to have their bags searched on occasion, too.
